The Queen's Birthday
Every year there is a parade in Amelia Plads to celebrate the Queen's Birthday. After everyone sings and chants for her to make an appearance, she appears on her balcony. The Queen waves at the crowd for about 5 minutes. She does this about 5 times. The Danes love her! It was so nice to experience this tradition in Denmark!!
